Kristin Miller

Chief Financial Officer

Kristin Miller is an accomplished executive with 30 years of accounting and financial expertise, and a track record of driving success in fast paced environments.  Kristin has extensive retail and consumer business savvy, leading both Fortune 500 and mid-sized businesses through transformational changes within the brick and mortar and e-commerce space.  Kristin has worked side by side executives for over twenty years partnering on numerous business initiatives including operations, labor management, digital transformation, as well as compensation and benefits plan design.

Throughout her tenure, Kristin has managed every financial aspect of a business, including budgeting, forecasting, cash and debt management, tax accounting, inventory, and accounting operations, as well as the development and implementation of financial controls. Kristin has hands-on experience successfully incubating and growing new businesses, as well as steering businesses through unforeseen challenges.

Kristin currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC), a non-profit organization bringing major, world-class sporting events to the San Francisco Bay Area, including the NBA All Star Game in 2025, and the Super Bowl and FIFA World Cup in 2026. In her current role, Kristin oversees all financial components of the organization including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, cash management, risk management and employee benefits.  Kristin is also the CFO of Terra Outdoor Living, a $50 million outdoor furniture retailer located throughout California.

Previously, Kristin spent almost 20 years at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., a Fortune 500 global retail company with annual revenues of over $8 billion. In her role as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller, she managed a team of over 100 employees in four states and eight counties and was responsible for the worldwide accounting of the organization.

Prior to Williams-Sonoma, Inc., Kristin spent nine years at Deloitte, a large international public accounting firm, accumulating valuable technical expertise in both U.S. and overseas assignments.  During that time, Kristin managed teams within not-for-profit, private, and large public corporations primarily within the retail, technology, and manufacturing sectors, allowing her to develop the financial acumen needed to successfully run both small and large-scale organizations.

Kristin earned a bachelor’s degree in both finance and accounting with honors from the University of Oregon.  Kristin lives in the Bay Area with her two sons, Austin and Jordan, and her husband Jeff.  She is an avid sports fan with a particular interest in the Oregon Duck football team.  When she is not running around a soccer field or tennis court, you will likely find her in the stands cheering on her boys.
